For wind turbines, the whole is more than the sum of its parts. It is not enough to know only the individual components, but it is essential to understand their behavior in interaction with the rest of the plant. Almost all areas of engineering studies are covered, resulting in a meaningful interaction.

INNOWIND distinguishes itself in the wind energy industry by new ideas, which are not rewarded very much in the beginning, but in the end turn out to be innovative and ahead of their time. Innovation results from creativity and cross-border thinking. Both are required at INNOWIND to live up to the name INNOWIND, for INNOvation in wind energy. We offer comprehensive fields of activity for engineers from various fields. The focus is on powertrain development, but it is essential to understand the entire plant. INNOWIND contributes to this understanding.

To strengthen our team we are looking for graduates and experienced engineers from the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering for the following positions:

  • Overall plant development and simulation
  • Design of drive train concepts
  • Flow, FEM and multibody simulation (ANSYS)
  • Development of cooling concepts
  • Design with CAD (CATIA V5)
  • Drafting
  • Bearing design
  • practical work on models

In addition to independent and open-minded work and interest in the field of wind energy, we require the following:

  • completed studies in mechanical/electrical engineering at university or university of applied sciences
  • CATIA V5, ANSYS and MS Office knowledge
