Due to intensive cooperation with competent industry partners, we are able to do the electric design of drive trains, like the design of multi pole generators including the appropriate power electronics in IGBT based construction. We have always relied on the concept of synchronous generators with permanent magnet excitation and outer rotors, which offers, in comparison to separately excited generators, considerable advantages in terms of efficiency and transportation dimensions.
